Directions
1/2 pound of Aroma beads to 2 - 2 1/2 ounces of fragrance oil let soak in glass jar. Some fragrances take longer to absorb even up to a week so make sure you shake jar daily. They should be dry to the touch. Add liquid dye to beads and mix using a craft stick to blend in color, the less you add the lighter it will be so go light until you get the desired color. Place scented aroma beads in 4 oz. jelly jars with daisy cut out lid and pulp liner. Keep out of reach of children and pets Fragrance normally last for months when in a tight fitting container, when in use and exposed they should last a few months however the scent throw from the aroma beads will not be the same as candles, tarts or reed diffusers as they are stationary. Avoid all wood surfaces. Choose metal cookie cutter, lay on a metal non-stick cookie sheet. Lay a nail or screw head down where you want the hole. Fill each cookie cutter with scented beads to about 1/4 to 1/2 inch deep. Bake in oven or toaster oven @ 350 degrees for about 4 minutes less time if you like them to be a little more on the bumpy side, use your judgment and keep an eye on them. Remove from oven with pot holders and let cool. They may smoke a little bit but that is normal. After they have cooled remove the tray and remove from the mold. You can also put them in the freezer to cool for easier removal. I like to add glitter to my beads prior to baking. Depending on the fragrance used the baked ornies should retain the smell for up to 30 days.
