Inspired by Gain
I really like this detergent fragrance. It is bold, yet not overbearing like the actual detergent by the same name. I have yet to find a fragrance that smells exactly like Gain. Detergent manufacturers are like junk yard dogs when it comes to protecting their proprietary laundry fragrances, and I think that is why no exact match exists. Having said that, I really like this fragrance oil. I like it as a stand alone, and I had very good luck with the throw at 12% concentration in 464 soy wax. So, I'd have to respectfully disagree with the sentiment that the throw is light with this one, but perhaps I used a higher concentration. There are so many factors involved. At any rate, you can safely add masculine cologne fragrances to this one, and you'll produce some neat blends. You could blend this with so many clean fragrances; I could imagine blending this with some fruity or feminine scents also. This is a laundry fragrance with universal appeal. While it's not a match for Gain (and I compared it to the detergent side-by-sdie to confirm my impression), I would say it is "inspired" by Gain. This one is a good one, folks!
