Don't Judge OOB
This one you absolutely cannot judge out of the bottle, and even more so when you are stirring it into the molten wax. The description reads as a combination of pomegranate, strawberry, cranberry, apple and raspberry notes blended with clove and cinnamon. The spices are very subtle, and I don't detect the clove as "clove." In fact this one really confused my nose, and I have a great sense of smell. To me it is a very 'flat' sweet spiced cherry scent; I guess it has that 'Americana' kind of flair to it. It is just an unusual scent to my line of thinking, and therefore it is hard to describe. It kind of reminds me of old fashioned hard candy. It has this dull undercurrent, sort of like horehound, underneath what my nose perceives as spiced black cherry. It throws well, and I had no issues with this one in 464 wax at 12% concentration. Having said all of this, Holiday Home did not resonate well with me. I will just say, "I don't like it." But that doesn't mean you shouldn't, or that customers won't. I made some candles and I'll let my customers decide if this one is a keeper or not. It does perform well in terms of throw (hence the five stars).
