Something Different, But Also Versatile
By itself this scent reminds me of these solid perfume tubes girls carried in the late 70's/early 80's in grade school. It is a waxy floral with a pleasant scent reminiscent of a Phalaenopsis Orchid. I don't smell the vanilla in this really, but that is most likely because it is masked with the earthy, muskiness of the orchid note. This one is different, and I like it for what I think it can lend to many spring and summer blends. I'll share a secret, but just this once: I blended this in equal proportions with SS Lovespell and it turned out beautifully. The resulting blend was sophisticated, soft, and upscale. If you are not a fan of Lovespell, adding Orchid Vanilla to it will completely change your mind. I'm glad I gave this one a chance by putting it in the wax,
