i love this melter!
this is our second melter and i LOVE it - simple to use and with two of them, candlemaking is twice as efficient! easy to clean and we have never had ONE issue with either!

One of the best investments I've made
I do not, generally, make candles for sale; however, I do make a LOT of them. Buying this melter was a luxury that I haven't regretted for one moment. After using a melter with a spigot, I would never again want to use a double boiler or anything requiring a ladle. I fill this to heaping with soy wax flakes, turn the heat to a low setting, and then go about prepping my jars and setting up my scents. When I'm ready to pour, I measure out wax into a new large deli container (I buy stacks at a food service store), weigh it, and then measure in my weighed scent. Just make sure you have the spigot in the OFF position before you start melting. It's a mistake you'll not likely make more than once.

I love my Presto Pot with Spigot and can not imagine making candles without it. Using a ladle to dip out the wax can be very messy. I just put newspaper on the floor under the spigot to catch any drips and clean up is a breeze. Saves lots of time making the process so much easier.

I have two melters. I use one for wax and one for melting ingredients for lotion bars and other body products. I do not miss the old days of the double boiler!! What a timesaver.

I ordered two melting pots and should have ordered more! Not only did they arrive quickly , they were ready to go as soon as I unpacked them. Each pot easily holds 7 lbs.of wax and melts quickly. The desired temperature stays the same as long as they are plugged in. I plan to order more in the new future!

Love this item. It works great and is all that it is advertised to be. Increased my productivity by more than 50%. Could never go back to the double boiler method of melting my wax!

This Presto Pot Melter With Spigot is great. The lowest temp I registered was 98 degrees. I used it to soften crystalized honey and with great results. Enzines are still alive. I bought two of them. I'll use one for melting wax and one for liquifying Honey. Highly recomended! I've been doing beekeeping since 1978 and wish this was around back then.
